During this mentorship, Jack will support you in building out comprehensive Game Design systems and Level Design frameworks for your personal projects. Whether you're exploring a unique concept for a game you'd like to make, dreaming up a great Level layout you intend to build, or wanting to show off your Design skills in a portfolio, he will provide detailed Game Design feedback and Level Design review. His guidance will help deepen your approach to Design as a game development discipline and bolster your Game and Level portfolios and resume/CV.
By the end of the mentorship, you will have the design understanding needed to craft your projects with confidence, knowing that your ideas will be engaging and compelling. If you're aiming to pursue a career in any kind of Design department for games, you'll be thoroughly equipped to take the next steps towards that end.
This mentorship is ideal for those with experience in game development ranging from total beginners to intermediates wanting to dive further into the power of great Design; whether starting your very first game project, building up your portfolio works, or pursuing Game or Level Design as a career.
